I like plain 'ol Canson. Affordable with great quality pages! I use the sketch paper so probably not the best with wet media even though it is nice and sturdy paper. But they have a mixed media paper that could handle sketches as well as other mediums :)
Strathmore Toned Tan for me. It erases cleanly, which is something i struggled to find for a long time. Works great with markers and colored pencils, but unsure how it would hold up to watercolor or other paint. D:
I have a toned tan sketchbook ordered, I'm really excited for it to arrive! it's good to know it erases nicely too, I just got a set of prismacolors so I can't wait to use them on it ;w;
and it's great for pen and even marker if you place down something to stop page bleed
Minimal smudging when you use mechanical pencil, the paper is dense and smooth and i love it so much
Haven't tried colorpencil but it definitely doesn't take water BUT I JJUST WANTED TO TALK ABOUT MY FAVORITe sketchbook ok
I have like 4-5 of them all stacked up and it looks a bit like a series of volumes haha
oh man I've been meaning to treat myself to jetpen's sketch starter kit once everything else has been bought for uni, and I think it comes with that brand of sketchbook? I'm really hyped to try it out!
It might do! I got the brushpen kit, one of those notebooks, and some Canson marker paper a while back and it's all been pretty good to me (for what little I draw).
Canson/Cachet is my go to brand for sketchbooks. their black hardcover books are my fave.
I also like the canson mixed media sketchbooks with the blue covers.
Artist's Loft from Michaels are also a good ones for various mediums and pretty inexpensive.
Leuchtturm1917 is great but make sure you get one that says 180g/m or else the paper is waaay too thin. Moleskine is similar (get the thicker paper!) but both are on the more expensive end.
Fabriano and Croquis sketchbooks are good too but I think both have thinner paper.

These are pretty legit.
