I wanted to have a bearded vulture for a fursona since they are awesome, but someone already had a red bearded vulture fursona floating around, so I made them blue because it's a cool color instead of a warm color :3

I saw a picture of a vanguard, the one I use as my avatar pic, and fell in love with them. I asked the creator of the species and the artist of the picture if I could use them for a character, and they said yes, and that was that. ^^_^^

I had the name... I was driving 35 miles each way, just about every other day and I was thinking of making a character. I could not decide between a wolf/canine or a lion-tiger/feline... Finally I decided that I did not have to choose and made a ligerwolf :P


As far as some of his more interesting quirks, they kind of came to me in part due to the media I was making the crtter in. He was made for FurryMUCK, so the idea of "how does this critter end up in front of you" when you look at him was interesting to me. I made him form his body by taking atoms out of the people and objects around him... this also had the effect of making him more of a mix over the ages, so he became sort of the "average" furry that he was around...
