Thank you to all for the Watches, Favourites and great comments!
Hi All,
Unfortunately I have to announce that I cannot complete the Paw-Post for today, Friday the 25th. Apart from it having been an immensely busy week at work due to a major firewall failure (with a couple very early morning sessions to swap out hardware), I received the news that my father had a stroke and is in the hospital. Thus far, the effects seem minor and he's okay for the time being while they run a gauntlet of tests on him. I plan to head to see him today if I can get out of work early (it's about a 2+ hour drive to where he is).
We also do not have a complete highlight in for this week - it might be possible to complete it for tonight if I were here today, but since I won't be this afternoon and onward, there's no way I can get that done in time. On average, it takes about 3 hours to finalize and publish a Paw-Post even if the editors have done most of the linking work, so presuming I won't be home until later tonight, I just don't see how I can manage to get one out this week
I apologize to all hoping to see it - regular Paw-Posts should resume next week for Friday September 1st.
I do want to take this moment though to highlight a Fur-In-Need, and a great way to help them. Super-incredible artist TideKeeper is doing really affordable sketches and stuff to help fund-raise for a friend in need, so this is not only a way to help, but a way to get some incredible art out of it too. You can find out more details from TideKeeper's journal here: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/8383875/
Thank you all for your understanding - I'll be back with a Paw-Post next week.

Do take your time hun and priorize, everything step by step.
I'll most certainly keep your father and family in my prayers,
Oh no, that is bad news. I am hoping the best for your dad and you. :(
That would have been worse, yeah. Still, it sucks that things like these happen at all. >_< Hope he will recover soon.
How are you and the rest of the family holding up? You're the eldest too, no? BTDT. Remember to eat and sleep. Force yourself.
I'm holding up okay. After all the medical things I've been through with my mate and a career in IT, stress and surprises are kinda the norm. <_< Not sure that's a good thing but... is what it is. And yeah, I'm the older of two kids. No idea how my brother's fairing - he only talks to me once or twice a year because he's odd that way.
Take care man.
"Dad, why is your shirt off? Are you trying to impress the 20 year old nurses?"
He'd smile and nod. LOL At near 70 he still got it. XD
