Did watch a new netflix movie, not going to give them the joy of calling it what they did because it was too rushed and felt more like a final destination movie mixed with The Happening. They tired in the final act but still not enough to save it. Here's another hint, the Japanese live action worked because of two things. It was made into two movies and the final third of the series was cut.
This was a piece of shit and they knew it. They only called it "Death Note" to try to lure all the otakus into paying for it.
