But then couldnt they just switch it back? Like. "Opp that was a bad idea shes back to being a herm and a regular female?" X3 I mean like there are probably just as many herm pictures as there are female its not really a situation were they'd really need to say the herm version is a twin or something X3
nope for reasons of ease on the artist...the alternate univers jess could be a space pilot saving the world from invating tentical monsters or other such far out there ideas
its simpler no but freedom you have more of to make the other self whatever you want as wacky and out there as you want.....reinventing a character without actualy reinventing the character
They have that freedom anyway... There is no need for timeline crazyness... Like... Seriously... At all, in anyway and its genuinely surprising you think its necessary for any reason and that somehow not doing it will have some super bad l lash or something...
i never said there would be a backlash but one does have regrets of making finalized desisions to permanantly change a character its happened to many artists many times why do you think so many try and stay concistant?
Its not a tattoo its a fictional character that can be changed at will at any time no matter what, from any gender/species/colour etc. Its no where near permanent. And they try to be consistent in the art style not weather a character had a body art or not...
yea and some yell at artists for constantly changing a character if done too frequently even though they have no right to bitch about it realy also why are you complaining about a sugestion anyway
Because the suggestion for having a twin or some alt time line was far to over the top? Even if there was a massive change to the character the only reason or thought they should put into it/have is. "I like my character this way now so they'll be this way, deal with it everyone else." Not. "Hmm people might be upset so i should come up with a super complex fall back plan so if i dont like it or "have regrets" (as you put it) i can have this story or plan instead of just saying i changed my mind or i didn't like it as much as i thought back to normal we go!" and im not complaining im questioning and we are having a civil discussion on the matter~
im looking at the creative freedom and the selfcest posability which is a step above twincest seeing the twin is still the character so people can enjoy without feeling guilty from getting aroused at siblings boning
But, Twincent and selfcest are the same thing arent they? I mean unless you're doing an exact copy of yourself down to the smallest microbe wouldnt the other person being born from the same parents be considered a brother/sister rather then a copy of yourself just a different gender? I mean, like thats all a twin is sometimes right? Just you as an opposite gender?
teincest is actualy a sibling self cest is a coppy of yourself or alterniate universe you having sex so yea your just fucking yourself compared to a twin likely a sibling twin
but i also beleave theres fetish in art and fetish in real.....if you like cub in art thats fine...if irl....gtfo same with incest though less intence...in art its fine irl thats ok too in my oppinion because if it makes you halppy and your family member is with it too its fine
i say this because its to make clear im not kinkshaming if someones into twincest i dont kinkshame anything unless its something moraly fucked up like pedofilia in real life...thats where kinkshaming is too kind and they should be arested other then extreams like that im open minded and refuse kinkshaming
i've been yelled at for it before even though i said i wasnt....i said"the feet were drawn weird youd exspect animal paws....not kinkshaming anyone though"and i got bitched out for kinkshaming humanoid feet over animal paws...and bitched royaly at for being likely a beastiality enthusiest and blablabla
That...that doesn't even sound like it would even be close to kink shaming...I mean they're feet its a shape, you basically said. "I find this shape funny" or "I expected a circle." when you found a square X3
My 2 cents...Jess is pretty great looking as is. (As far as I go, seeing a herm every now and then is cool, but seeing them almost constantly gets old very quickly. Again, just my opinion and 2 cents)
Honestly, I think she's fine as is....and herms are like my biggest turn off ever. But, the decision is yours, I won't stop watching your or anything, just might not fave as much as I used to.
But the decision of your characters should always be what makes you happy and what you would like to see/play. If you aren't so sure, you could take the liberty of keeping it as a version of her or twin of her. Then making it canon to her story.
That worked for me, who still swings back and forth.
Ultimately though, any Jess is unfathomably gorgeous.
I'm happy seeing the female Jess' aspect and artwork, but as others have pointed out, it's your character; you can make any changes you want or feel most comfortable with. If you'll be happier or more satisfied with a full herm, then we have no right to object. >;3 ( Although you did ask our opinions... X3 )
If that's what they're into...
I support the idea!
