Dude was so out of his element and it showed. I'm willing to look past Floyd's terrible personal life when it comes to talking about how ignorant a lot of people in the MMA fandom were for this fight. Don't get me wrong boxing fans who expected a wash out were just as stupid, they both made that fight a great show.

Boxing is in no way inferior as a sport to MMA, and I'm not saying that like it's superior either.

Couldn't agree more, was a good event for fight sports (not that i'm knowledgeable about either). People are saying how they want an asterisk next to Mayweather's record because of this fight, but it was better than the Pacquiao fight, how crazy is that. Hopefully McGreggor sticks around in MMA for a good while because of the whole Jon Jones thing though.

I agree that putting an asterisk is a bit of a stretch. It's not like the guy hasn't spent the last decade and a half training with boxing as part of his kit. He just wasn't conditioned for the specificity of a boxing match.

The whole Jon Jones debacle has me hurt lmao. I was really rooting for him during the Double Cheeseburger fight, and he has potentially thrown it all away again.
