No more Fanart? o.o

Hey!
Today I watched a video on YouTube about Fanart and if it is illegal. Since I've drawn alot of Fanart for various games/movies/etc
(like Pokémon, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, League of Legends, etc.) I was feeling a little guilty after watching that video since it is, in fact,
ILLEGAL to draw Fanart for commercial purposes.
The video I'm talking about can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lunX4lQj6R4
Alot of my commissions I've drawn in the past do have certain characters from other companies in them, like for example Pokemon OC's or sonas.
Yes, I know that most companies don't care about Fanart, otherwise alot of artists would be screwed. But who knows when that can change.
I for myself feel like I want to reduce the amount of Fanart for characters who were originally made for games/movies/anime/etc.
or even shut it down completely.
But I want to know your opinion about that: Should I reduce the amount of Fanart? Should I stop it completely? Or should everything stay like it is now?
Please let me know what you think about it, because I for myself am not completely sure about it myself.

FA+

Fan art is fine if it's not-for-profit. If it's for a YCH, commission, or Patreon, that's when it becomes illegal and immoral.
Regardless you should do a bit of both. I'd love to see what you can create and I love seeing your pokemon and digimon works.
Sadly, this is something that many artists try to claim knowledge over, but in the end, only lawyers can know for sure. Laws vary from place to place, and it also varies on what the copyright holder decides. Fair use and legality has to be settled in the courts should the need arise, not based off of advice from someone (in this case, the video's creator) that can only legally speak for their own IP and copyright.
Like seriously, how many here on FA are just doing the same stuff? or liking the same stuff~ You should continue doing your works
You're not making a piece and then selling it off to someone, you're selling your time and effort. But as many others have stated it is a gray area, and unlikely anything would actually happen given how many thousands of artist there are doing the same and nothing has happened.
Reducing the ammount would be good if it makes you feel safe, just in case. But I'd suggest to not stop it completely. After all, we do that for the love we profess to the characters. The interest we have in them.
