Best Quarter Machine Toy Ever
8 years ago
Ahhh - for the first time in many, many years I have bought a product from a quarter machine at my local grocery store. I then went back and dropped $7.50 on it.
The toy in question is a Lego-like brick building animal miniatures that can connect vertically horizontally. They are called Pix Brix, and they have their own website where you can buy your own figures for just one dollar each: https://pix-brix.com/
Just thought I'd share this adorable product. They currently have farm animals and wilderness animals (the set the store machine featured), and they are coming out with safari and arctic animals too. I really like the deer and wolf I got, they are just too cute ;_;

Are they only 1x1 bricks? That'd be disappointing!

OP
Yeah they are - that's actually what I like about them as they are basically voxel bricks to create pixel/voxel art.

Fair enough - it makes them a bit like those bead things, but more 3D, I guess!

Yep! Expect connecting them isn't permanent :D
