It's been a while from my last journal and I need to give everyone an update on how I'm doing. First of all, I'm okay. Fortunately, I didn't get flooded or lost power during the hurricane. Many areas in the city got hit hard with the insane amount of rain. I think that if it wasn't for the breaks in between, it could've be worse than this.


Last month, I was depressed and lost in thoughts for a while because my late sisters birthday, as well as my late mothers was on a weekend. Their birthdays were only a day apart from each other. I spent that time, reflecting on the good memories and treasure the precious moments I had with them, which will forever be within my heart. There are times I still have my moments but I try to focus on the good memories I have and along thinking about how the holidays will never be the same again. Despite of that, I and along with a few family members are going to keeping certain traditions going out in turns of remembrance of her. ( For example, like continuing doing fireworks on certain holidays)


This had been weighting on my mind for a while and I want to touch base for others in case anyone have been wondering what I have been up to.


On a different note, my birthday, make that hatchday since I'm a scaly is coming up soon and I'm looking forward to it. I might make some travel plans to go on a road trip somewhere. I just had a thought, instead of calling this month September, let's call it Rextember. *toothy grin*
