Oooops.. uh yeah. It's been 8 months apparently.. lol

I'll be holding an art raffle when I get to 1,000 followers there, or maybe when I am approaching 1,000.. so that should be within a couple months I'm guessing?

Commission openings: I think I'm going to open for Fall/Halloween icons in late September, when I come back from my trip I am leaving for shortly. I may be opening for some speedpainting slots as well because that's something I want to do more of. No more refsheets for a while. I am pretty burnt out on them for the moment as they seem to be all I've been doing lately XD

Europe Trip: I'm leaving for a trip with my guy to Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands, and Germany on Wednesday. I'll be gone for 2 weeks. Not sure if I will be checking FA or not. Again, Twitter is a better bet, but even with that I'm probably only going to use Internet when I have Wi-fi access, so I won't be able to be as attentive to notifications.

If anyone is wondering, this trip is centered around seeing Ayreon Universe featuring Floor Jansen (Nightwish, etc.), Hansi Kürsch (Blind Guardian), Tommy Karevik (Kamelot, Seventh Wonder), Marco Hietala (Nightwish), and of course Arjen Lucassen himself. ...It WAS supposed to feature Russell Allen, one of my top 3 favorite singers, but he bailed for some reason. I was p gutted when that was announced, but Tommy Karevik is one of my top 3 as well, so I think I will survive (the other of the 3 being Mikael Akerfeldt if anyone is curious. He's featured in some Ayreon works as well but he won't be at this show unfortunately). For those who haven't heard of Ayreon, it's a musical group with the music written by Arjen, featuring many high-end talented vocalists and instrumentalists, mostly in the realm of progressive and power metal. Basically they are one of the most amazing musical groups of all time, imo, but highly underrated/not super well-known for what they do.. I mean shit, if I'm going to pay thousands to make a trip around seeing them, I must reaaaally like them haha. The furthest I have ever traveled to see a band before was like, 2 hours driving? Sooo, this is kinda a big deal. XD

We'll be going through Stockholm, Gothenburg, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Tilburg, and Bochum. Our trip is Sep. 6-19.

Anyway, sorry for my silence! I need to remember not to neglect this site :P

Glad to hear you're still alive and well :) You're not alone, FA has been left silent by a lot of furs the last year or so. Yeah Twitter seems to be where it's at now. That's awesome you're taking that European trip. Safe travels and I hope you have a wonderful time. Now off to finish writing my update journal haha! I'm about half way through it. It's a book.

Ooh, well I'll be keeping an eye out for your entry! Yeah, it's just that with smartphones and all, FA is more tedious to access. If they had an app, maybe I would be more prone to use it and update on it more readily. Thanks for the well wishes also!

Oooh, nice! I recall seeing that city on the map when planning our route and looking for airbnbs. We'll be going from Tilburg to Bochum so I think we're passing right through there in fact! Have you been to Beekse Bergen Safari Park? Was wondering how it is, if so.

Beekse Bergen?? Yeah, I went to that one some years ago! o:
It was pretty alright last time I went there, most animals had the space to walk around, bit more freedom rather than, you know, closed up in a cage or something. Dunno how it is now, though, hopefully all the animals still have the freedom. o:
Tilburg has a small zoo thing as well named Zoo Oliemeulen, but I don't know if it's in the same route. Reason I know that one is that - some years ago - my parents were looking for a zoo where they had skunks... -w-'''

Ooh, I thought Beekse Bergen sounded neat because from what I've read you can actually drive your car through some parts? It seems almost too good to be true though, because I imagine that could be pretty dangerous for the animals as well as the people doing it haha. I love skunks <3 It's too bad they are so elusive! Even though they live in the same neighborhood as me unfortunately the only time I ever see them is lifeless on the side of the road X_X Same with raccoons, blah!

Oh, you do have some sort of tour at the Beekse Bergen, at least, that was the last time I went there! c:

And ROFL, some of the animals at this little zoo in Tilburg are pretty funny, like some of those skunks specifically are pretty well-tamed, last time I went there, one waddled around with one of the workers out there, it looked really funny and cute. I got bitten by one once, but it was my own fault, I mean, what does a hungry animal do if they sniff some scent of food on your fingers?? <w<
I wonder if that little zoo Oliemeulen still exists, though. I think I went there like 3, probably 4 years ago already. I kinda stopped going to zoos because I can't stand seeing animals, lizards or just any kind of creature being in cages. xP

So Beekse Bergen did have car-accessible areas, however they were on the outer rim of the park just around the big herd animals it looked like.. so we just walked the park. I saw African wild dogs, so that made it worthwhile by its self!!
