Vore-related project thing.

I've been having entirely too much fun spending hours on this. (Even if a good chunk of those hours have been doing other stuff besides the massive statue, like getting my equivalent exchange economy rolling (I'm in a full suit of gemmed red matter, hence being able to casually fly and casually swim in lava) or Forestry stuff. (I've done apiary stuff before, up to and including the herculean effort of getting a fully functioning alveary, but this time I'm actually doing tree stuff too. I've successfully cultivated cherry trees, but I can't get my walnut trees to grow. I assume they just refuse to in a Taiga biome like I'm in.)
It always helps me when I can share the things I'm making in the game. That is like 75% of the game's appeal to me. I wish I knew of a server to do this kind of stuff on, genuinely collaboratively and all. Legends is definitely my favorite pack; It has working, 1.7 update level versions of Equivalent Exchange, IC2 and Forestry, plus some new ones I really enjoy like the Carpentry blocks that make all those angles possible. It's like microblocks but better, and with diagonal cuts. (And lets me keep it illuminated without torches, heck yeah.) I just wish it had Dimensional Doors; that was such an awesome little mod. Some day I'll have to learn how to build my own packs.
Edit: Progress update.

Carpentry is wonderful. Kee introduced me to it and of course, one of the first things I did (after my badass thaumcraft infusion altar room) was a devil maw for my portal to The End of Time where I was gonna summon the demon town with Blood Magic. XD

OP
I never got too deep into thaumcraft, though I have dabbled in it before. Was always hyper paranoid about having to cope with runaway taint closer than comfortable to my living area. It's the kind of thing I'd probably do way more with if Dimensional Doors; they're basically ideal for any weird or dangerous ideas you want to play around with. Wanna try building a scary as fuck massive nuclear reactor? Plop down a fresh iron portal door and do it in it's own little isolated dimensional room without worrying about exploding the rest of your base, having to travel to get to it, etc. And the rooms start out as featureless black voids whose walls and flooring are made of a material that acts like solid air, in that it won't let fluids through, won't let you fall through it, but any solid blocks you place take up the space where it was. Plus being able to link doors in regular space for very simple, low-cost teleportation. Get incredibly lost? Just plop down that emergency door you held on to, linked back to your base of operations.
