So I installed a plugin for my browser that actually donates money to various charities every time you open a tab in your browser!
If you are anything like me, every single thing you do goes in a new tab until you are overwhelmed with the stupid things. So I figured why not let charities benefit from something I do every day anyway?
It requires virtually no work on your part beyond browsing normally and maybe opening a few extra tabs a day if you wanna be nice. You can earn hearts for leveling up that you can donate directly to various charities. I don't really know what the hearts do but I assume they are like an extra dollar or so that get sent that way.
The plugin DOES replace your "new tab" page with their own, but so far I haven't really found it to be that inconvenient. I mean, I usually navigate away from it right away anyways and it lets me see how much I have leveled up at a moment notice so that's kinda cool. Yes, there are ads, but I'm pretty sure that's how this thing is able to keep running so I leave them on. They're not intrusive anyway. Just sorta...there, ya know?
I sent in an application to start up a group for you wonderful followers to join so we can tab together for a cause, but until that is accepted you are welcome to tab on your own!

Years ago, I built this one web site on some odd, little host. They ran it off ads. That's how they made money.
Problem was, those ads weren't clean. Made my anti-virus go crazy.
Heck. Even the ads here on FA leave cookie crumbs all over the place. But Cookies aren't browser take over attacks with ransom threats.
