No, but the wiki should have the codes to reset/initialize that quest for you. That sometimes works, unless whatever's wrong with the save is SO borked it eventually takes the whole game with it.

If you take back the castle on your own, that might kick it into gear. But it'll be tougher. They provide some decent weaponry for you while there, but I'd still bring out the big guns. And mines. A bunch of mines should do. If you've done it before you know what I mean. If not, I won't spoil it.

Did that. Didn't work actually. Preston has to give you the quest to get the radio operator and expand the minutemen into the fort. <:P It SUCKS and is a known glitch. I shut off all scrapping and clean/smooth settlement mods. And then restarted. Hopefully that'll work.

Oh, ****. That's what's killing you. Creation club kills off other mods, because it forces all mods to load IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER. Since you Mod through bethesda on Consoles, you automatically are using Creation Club. (AFAIK)

NAH There's a load order selector for standard mods on Xbox1. >.> I can pick and choose where everything goes properly thank god. >.> I am not using ANYTHING settlement related. If that works, I know who to contact about it. 3lric has already been working on the issue with his Scrap That Settlement mod...and i think that's the culprit. Will find out in a few days when i get Preston back to my humble down-sized sanctuary.

I blame hurricane Irma. She's sucked everything fun out of my area already and we're not expecting the real fun to start until Sunday-Monday. There is no gas, little diesel, no canned food or water. So she likely took all of your gaming fun too! Lol, I tease of course but the shit is serious down here. I really do expect power and internet loss for an indeterminate time. Do not panic of you cannot reach me though. I made sure mum and I will be safe and am still charging every battery I can find, car and truck filled up and serviced, extra fuel for saws, tractor - we shop batteries, non perishables and camping goods early every season, so I'll pop up again soon after the weather clears. Lucky too that we're fully insured, but if something serious happens, it could be a while before we can rebuild and repair.

And of course, if I can still reach network and some source of power, I'll respond sweetie. ^.^ But things just got really serious down here and the first winds and rain are nowhere close...
