A trend I've noticed as of late (more than usual)

Is it just me, or is there a LOT of people recently just changing accounts?
I honestly don't see the point of doing so, as most just want a different name. I can understand if they want to change due to content for their profession... but most I see these days just change for the heck of it?
I dunno, maybe this old dog is too old to get the fads of the young.
That being said, I'm not saying you shouldn't, just an observation I've made recently, nothing more.

I don't think I've personally seen more than usual? Because I remember being annoyed by it historically too. It's definitely still a thing that is happening though.

Maybe it's just that it's several artists I've watched this time around, in either case, as I said, just an observation, not saying it's bad or anything!
I remember that people changed accounts in large numbers when FA was taken down and people lost access to their accounts. Other than that, I haven't seen it at all as of late
