Just out of curiosity. Why is almost every artist holding his/her raffles on twitter?
I'm using twitter to see what friends are doing or thinking. Not to watch artists to see pictures I'll see on FA anyway. And I don't want to follow someone just for the chance for a free picture.
I really don't want to complain. It's everyones free choice where to hold their raffles. I just don't get it. What's the point of gaining twitter followers this way?

Well, not everyone is like you? A lot of people follow others for art and other things. More followers = wider circle of people who know you = good for business. I'd hold raffles on FA (and other artists would), because watchers here are much more valueble than followers on twitter, BUT, there is a function called retweet, which is easy and efficent way to spread the word. Here it is not possible, before people asked to make a journal for it to enter, but FA Admins say it's againt the rules. So, no way to hold raffle here, that's why on twitter.

Sorry if it sounded like I'm complaining. Or like I'm mad about it. I'm not, I was really just asking out of curiosity.
No, not everyone is like me, and that's good. Just wanted to write down my view^^
