19yo found dead in Midwest FurFest hotel's freezer

Kenneka L. Jenkins, 19, was found dead inside an industrial walk-in freezer at Rosemont’s Crowne Plaza around midnight Sunday, more than 24 hours after leaving her home on Chicago’s West Side to party with friends at the hotel and conference center near O’Hare International Airport.
Details are sketchy, but emerging, and pretty damned random. Even if she was just drunk and wandered the hotel until she made her way into that freezer, she and her friends were too damn young to be drinking. And now rumors are flying about that her friends set her up.
It just- feels odd to process that not only do these places exist even when we're not there, but that some incredibly unsavory things go down there even when we are...

The "con hotel" is the Hyatt Regency O'Hare, not the Crowne Plaza (which is on the other side of the convention center and the other side of Des Plains River Road.
I had apparently been on the same path less than an hour before.
On the other hand, it is late, and approaching fall. Not really the best of times to be bringing up stories about close approaches to death, too many of those as it is. Try and remember them as they were, and the good times they intersected your path.
Who've could've done such a thing?!
