Okay it's about time I get rid of that 6 month old journal from my page, hahaha. WELL that’s not the only reason for this journal. I also wanted to address a couple of things regarding commissions & art uploaded.
First of all: Thank you! Especially everyone who commissioned me in the past. Thanks to you I managed to get through some other wise difficult months! And for the first time ever I actually have to close my usually-always-open-commissions as I'm constantly full! It's unbelievable but even though I stopped posting on the art-forum and didn't upload any new images I kept getting new commissions. It's been in a good flow and I finally have to adjust my behavior a little:
Since I only have about 300 watchers (and who knows how many are actually active) I had to rely on some other tactics than writing commission-journals. I used to hold back art until I had only a single active commission left and then posted finished reference sheets in hope to get noticed by those that were looking for somebody to draw/design their characters. That moment of “I have only one commission left!” didn’t happen for nearly two months now, though. I guess I can start to upload stuff as I finish it instead of holding it back for convenient timed self-promotion, wowi!
I'm really amazed that I got somehow noticed, probably due to many of you that recommended me to friends. Thank you so much!
Also, I never felt like giving watcher-depending projects/commission types a try but I might actually do some experiments during late September & early October!
YCH commissions had been a thing I’ve been interested into. I’d like to try out more scenes with multiple characters interacting and YCH allow people to get their characters drawn for a much lower price. (I intend to do fixed prices for now)
I’m also in love with the idea of doing adoptable. Not the “one lineart, 5 recolors”-thing but unique designs without any type of strange usage-rules. Whether a fixed price or an auction would be best for those is something I’d like to decide by trying both. I have a thematic idea for the first two adoptables too.
And finally there is the idea of a watcher/community-project adoptable. The design will be created through voting and the final result will be up for sale. It’s something I’m looking forward to try out as I haven’t seen something alike around yet. That might be fun for watchers too and give me some unexpected design challenges :”)
Overall I’m a bit worried if I’ll find buyers or participators for these things at all but I think it’s about time to give these fun alternatives a try!
(I didn't forget about my own characters or stories either but I'm honestly having more fun drawing for others right now. My own species are a bit troublesome as I change their details too often)
Thanks again to all of you for having made my life a LOT better through the harsh time :”)

And yes it absolutely helped! I'm not super poor or starving by any means, but I'm a student without income so whenever I want to do anything else than merely existing I need extra money from somewhere. Commissions really help to allow me to do things such as going to the cinema, buying a game or just buying snacks when someone comes over to visit me o: As an example: I financed my birthday this way which allowed me to meet friends that live many many hours away. That really helped me to get better :")
