A few hours ago I was willing to just drop it but they just kept coming back. This kid went through all the friggen stages in a manner of an hour. First they tried pleading. Then when pleading didn't work, they unblocked me and started faving all my stuff? Then when THAT didn't work the "YOU STILL OWE ME MONEY FOR YOUR SHIT ART" started and hasn't stopped.
If it keeps going I may just try and get this on one of those DeviantArt Rant channels lol. That scares kids, right?

If it were me, I'd smack him in the face with a logic retort and block him, making sure screenshots of his behavior is on full display so you don't have to worry about getting a ton of flak for doing what you had to do to resolve the situation.

I'm also fully convinced they're no older than 15 or so, if at most mentally. Everything is in full display in that journal, all the lies, all the contradictions and all the proof that I have indeed not received this mysterious $50 lol.

righto, just make sure you don't let him escalate it with you. Of course, it was outdated info, but the principle of what he did still applied. If he starts getting malicious, block him and report him. It was a PayPal.me link so there wasn't a chance for an email address being entered in wrong. The nail in the coffin is that they just absolutely REFUSE to share their transaction history and when prompted they turn and call *me* a scammer. Which I mean hey, what artist doesn't have people throwing mud on them for one reason or another? Mooooost of us though don't pull this kind of a stunt.

And absolutely haha, lesson learned. Took a chance and it turned round and bit me. Thankfully since they didn't even pay for it, the adoptable wasn't even theirs and it has since found a nice new home.

Wow... seems like DA is becoming a greater place for scammers to strike. The vore community there just had a huge scam issue with someone that had a lot of blind followers and said person scamming eventually gave up and deactivated their account, claiming they were going to the pay the artist that was due several hundred dollars for work.

I honestly haven't used the site in lord knows how long but decided to make a new account to just cross post some stuff and maybe reach some more people. That's terrible about that large scale scammer. People think they're so tough, ripping off artists *rolls eyes*

Tell them to contact PayPal to resolve the error in payment to get their money back, as they are more equipped to handle transactions on their site. That might shut them up?
