Huh, that's weird. Is it tweets themselves that show up for you or just people replying with an @crocoloaf? I'm still showing up as having a problem on the twitter shadowban checker sites, and my username and tweets don't appear for me when I do searches while logged out, only people replying @ me. But people who already follow can still see stuff? I don't understand :<

Seems like if someone accidentally breaks a rule on your website, it would be smarter to actually tell them what they did wrong and why and what they're gonna do instead of this passive-aggressive business so that they can actually learn from the experience.

It's very similar to "Hellbanning" on message boards like Something Awful where you're perfectly capable of posting and replying, and think everything's fine when you post, but no one (outside of mods and admins) can actually see a thing you're posting. It's a pretty awful thing to have happen to your account. I can definitely sympathize because that happened to me on Forumopolis back in the day.

Oh they went the extra mile too, made a parody thread called "I've been Hellbanned!" and had people saying "That's odd, it says there's a post here but I can't see anything". Lots of passive-aggressiveness on that forum. I don't miss it.
