Have you tried another gastroenterologist? Sometimes you need that other opinion. I had 7 doctors tell me I needed my left leg amputated above the left knee years ago, til a country doctor suggested they retest me with my knee straight, sure enough it was what he suggested. the buffer between the knee joints was over flapping, blocking the vein when bent.

Well it's hard to know what to do when there's no visible evidence of anything wrong.

It's bad enough when your mechanic says "I've never seen this before.", but when you get it from your doctor it is truly cringe worthy.

I've missed some stuff, so I might not know the details there in. Do you still have your gall bladder? How is your pancreas? I'm thinking a simple endoscope wouldn't show issues with these organs, but I'm not a doctor.

Nope, haven't had a gallbladder since 2010. The pancreas seems fine according to various tests I've had over the years (though there's some family history of issues there, so I keep an eye on it). Protonics are proton pump inhibitors, essentially they made the stomach produce less acid, heh. They're more a stopgap than a long term solution, though.

Gah... I hate to see this happening to you. And any food related restriction is a pain in the ass. I hope they can keep examining things and figure out what's going on without too many more tests.
