This is a question that just randomly popped into my head and is causing me to go into a deep thought of the answer to it.
What happens to a character in the Furry Fandom when their owner passes, are they passed on to the next of kin, do they get laid to rest along with the owner, or are they just auctioned off?
I'm just being a curious dragon here, so please don't rip on me for my curiosity.

If it were me, I would say the character would be laid to rest along with the owner; this coming from someone who feels their fursona(s) are a part of themselves.
