Honestly, after the ‘war on terror’ is over

The public backlash of what the US government did in the Middle East will highly devalue all political parties, future politicians, government power and other areas to an image equivalent to an empty Olympic stadium with the government in the center of it, trying to say things or do things, but no one can hear them.
Or the House of Parliament, White House, representatives and congress would all be surrounded by giant walls, all outgoing communication will be taken away, and they can only have receiving communication, and they have no political or government power Basically their offices will be their prison.
(This is made after I finished watching the pbs movies that were recently playing on tv of the Vietnam war.)

They’ll bitch all the live long day about the government, but when it boils right down to it, they won’t turn out to vote, at least not enough to give an accurate representation of the true shape of the public’s needs and wants, especially on the midterm elections.
Realistically speaking, the American public is largely sick and tired of the War on Terror, and wants to pull our troops out. Thing is, Congress and the president COULD make that happen, but unfortunately, the American public’s attention span can’t get enough of itself to the polls to elect the individuals who WOULD.
