Well some changes for the better at the skunk home.
I got accepted as a driver for a local bus / shuttle company called Rover / Krapf's Bus services, making 12 an hour. Excellent benefits and no drama like the college had.
But thankfully the college did let me get experience in driving their shuttle buses, Ford 15 passenger F450 shuttles, thankfully with no accidents.
When me and Bunny and Rachael were driving around, looking for work since I got laid off for summer shutdown, we seen the Rover shuttle Busses driving by, and she suggested that I apply, since a courier position went belly up.
After doing all kinds of background checks, fingerprints, even child abuse investigations, they finally hired me. I'm starting at the end of the week.
Only bad thing, is my shift is a split shift, meaning go in early in morning, and then go back in afternoon to nighttime. But thats not bad as I get to spend some time home during the day.
Part 2 of good news, we are moving out of the barn apartment ....
... to a HOUSE. (Holy rat petunias Yawg Boy o.0)
A reply came to our Craiglist ad saying we were looking for a better place to move that wouldn't do credit checks. One local guy who runs a local car repair shop had one he was just refinishing inside, a 100 year old home, but all completely new inside.
A small yard and 3 floors, second will be Rachael's, and 3rd is ours. Only thing we have to get used to is the spiral stairway that almost twists on itself as it goes upward. It's fairly tight going up so we have to hug against the wall, till we get used to it.
Already has 2 full baths with a full tub in each, (I absolutely HATE the sit down tiny assed tubs you cannot lay down in.) Oil heat, and new paint, carpets, and its soundproof because the walls are almost a foot - or - two thick of stone and rock-concrete mix. Already wired for cable tv and new washer dryer next to kitchen, and all new appliances too.
We will sadly be losing the deposit on this place, but we THINK we can swing it, and the landlord dosen't mind, just as long as he is paid sometime.
This apartment was not very good to us, it had mold, leaks everywhere, cheap assed landlords who only wanted money but didn't lift a finger when problems arose.
Wish us luck, we need it.
Will post pictures when we get moved.

We have a week to get out or we have to pay a full month again.
