As many of you know, I grew up in Vegas, and spent my entire life there, up until a little over a year ago when I moved away.
Around 11pm last night my sister texted me saying they were under attack. I was so frightened and tensed up I went to immediately contact close friends and family to make sure everyone was okay. Thankfully all of my family [my two sisters especially who work nights on the strip] were safe.
Friends who attended the festival were also safe and sound, but this still feels just too close to home for me. I stayed up late last night trying to make sure everyone was accounted for, but this is still a tragedy.
My heart, prayers, and thoughts go out to Las Vegas and especially those who attended the route 91 festival whose lives were forever changed.

60+ dead, and over 500 injured. People are hurting and need help. I am always amazed how this country [and world] comes together to help one another. Good always wins over evil.

I'm just amazed at the heart of people in the community who have come together to help in any way they can.
