1) What's your sexual orientation? If anything other thsn straight, when did you discover you were oriented to that sex?
2) When did you start drawing and do you ever plan on expanding upon that skill?
3) What kind of process went to developing your fursona?
4) Do you plan on using messengers such as Discord, Telegram, etc.?
Don't be afraid to share all the (juicy) details. :3
1) I'm...complicated. Growing up in the 70s and hitting puberty in the 80s...well...there were two orientations - "normal" and "(Insert some derogatory term here)". For me, the experiences were varied; sometimes it was convenience, sometimes hormonal, sometimes mutual fun. Fast forward to about 10 years ago...I became somewhat picky; I developed the need for a relationship. Emotions are tricky/fickle things.
2) Been drawing all my life. About 1990; I came across the comic XXXenophile by Phil Foglio and started getting serious about it. Then I found Red Shetland, Albedo, Warthaven (SCA comic strip by the late Mark Wallace -miss you big guy!), Critters!. Those were the main books back then. I've had art in the old Fanzines (Fire and Fur, Fur, Sylverfox's books, Guardian Knights ( Ok...1 panel in a comic book), Yarf!, Tales of the Tai Pan Univers (along with written stories), and "In the Zone". I've drawn quite a bit, but as of January 2008, I had a dose of reality; I became a Civilian again after 20+ years in the Navy. Since then, I've been fighting moving, 2 jobs, health, travel, and adjusting until I undertook re-branding myself at Tiny Paws. My goal is to get a digital tablet in December and start moving forward in new projects.
3) Take 1 part silliness, 2 parts spirituality, a healthy dose of my life experiences, and an unlimited credit card to Archie McPhee in Seattle.
4) I'm on Telegram, but that's pretty much it. Skype sucks up processor power and memory. AOL Instant Messenger isn't much different, but who's on it anymore? I use it for mail.
Sounds like you've been through a lot. I would be honored to get a commission from you! ^^ ...That is if earn enough money. Speaking of which! Based on your art skills, confidence, and circumstances, how much would you be charging for your services?
And do tell about the fanzines!! This furdom deserves to know more about it's history.
