I keep missing these "[species] Day" things!

Just found out—through Twitter—that October 1 was International Raccoon Appreciation Day. This is the third time I've found out there was a day for a specific animal and I'd just missed it. First was Hyena Day, on April 27, and then Red Panda Day... like a month ago or something. UGH.
Is there, like, a calendar of these things so I can be prepared next year? If nothing else, there ought to be an article on WikiFur or something.
