Legit, I drink around a pot of coffee every day and three of the four cups I had today were cold brew and I'm so overcaffeinated I can feel my bones.

Drinking lots of caffeine over time gets you immune/used to it! For me, coffee does absolutely nothing for me. If I'm hella tired, an entire pot wouldn't do anything for me

Clarification: I've been drinking a pot of coffee (generally more, especially if I'm at work or in class) every day for the last 15 years. XD

Espresso is nice, but it actually has less caffeine than a normal cup of coffee. What makes it seem stronger is that the heat sort of continues a sort of roasting period which makes the flavour stronger, but ultimately reduces the amount of caffeine for two reasons. Firstly that the lighter the roast, the more caffeine is in the beans. Secondly, the longer the beans/grounds are in contact with water, the more caffeine there is, hence why cold brew is so stronk. So you're basically getting two or three times the flavour for half or a third of the caffeine. _{im not a coffee snob i dont know what youre talking about}

It would take approximately 125 cans of Red Bull before you hit fatal amounts of caffeine, so you would hit the fatal amounts of water before you hit fatal caffeine levels. If you're talking more short/long term effects, the benefits far outweigh any jitters you might get, so long as you don't consistently overindulge. Enjoy! Just...stay away from Folgers and Maxwell house. They're cheap for a reason. The acidity is very high and can lead to acid reflux, indigestion, and nausea. For a good, very smooth coffee that's also inexpensive, Chock Full o' Nuts is great. It's the only coffee I can drink black without milk or sugar. :3
