I'm sorry. But I really need to get this off my chest.

I lost someone today. As a friend, I mean. I'm not going to use his real name, so I'm just going to call him friend.
He wanted to know why I unfriended him on facebook. I told him it was because I was tired of his taste in entertainment- it leaves me feeling unclean. I was even more tired of his judgementalism- he would constantly spout terrible things about people he knew nothing about, frequently to the point of being racist.
It really did not go well. He reacted by calling me a smelly creep with no real friends. And now I'm scared he's right.
He said he only tolerated me out of politeness. I felt the same way about him. So I guess its not a great surprise. But everything still hurts.
I've lived a sad life. And yet, I still have faith in Jesus.

Thank you, Sarah. I really appreciate you.
I honestly consider the ones you meet, in real life, in person, and then become friends with them...as actual friends.
This is also why I also don't use Facebook, in general - and while it may be the "Status symbol" to mark someone as popular, well-rounded and well-known...
Since when do you actually NEED Facebook to actually HAVE, or even make a true friend?
Try reaching out in the real world bud, you might be surprised!
My 2 cents!
