I HAVE RETURN...
Yep. I'm back from con.
Was fun. Spent lots of time with friends, derping and overall having fun.
Artist's alley was another story... That was... Interesting. Long story short, they couldn't figure out how they were going to run it. There were only 6 table spots (half of a table). A lot of people were left very unhappy. I was lucky enough to get in all three days. If I hadn't, I wouldn't have made even with what I spent getting there. I only JUST made that. lol.
Anywho, totally worth it to spend time with awesome people. :3

This was the first time the Artist Alley had people actually IN it since 2014. No kidding, last year, we had 2 artists in the alley in total for the 3 days. I don't think they had expected people to actually be interested in having an AA this year, from past numbers. I'm sure that the dealer's staff is going to look in to how to make it better for everyone next year.
make sure if you had specific complaints to email the convention, the staff can't help make things work out better without attendee input.
Hope you come back down next year!
Apparently the year before, they didn't have but two people in the artist's alley, and so they shrunk it by a lot, not expecting that many people to want to be in. However, more people than they thought were going to, showed up. Six (half table) spaces were not enough this time. Many people got left out.
I know that the first year I attended that con, they had it in a location that nobody could actually find it. It was very much out of the way and upstairs, while most of the events were going on downstairs. Con staff and artists were putting up papers with directions to it, but hotel staff kept ripping them down... And not even because they weren't allowed to post things on the walls. They absolutely were allowed. :/
