And hello people! I've been a little off lately, I feel. I haven't felt like I've really had anything to share here. I wasn't even uploading on this site this month until today.
My drawing's still in a funk, but I'm hoping to get over that soon! For now, though, I'm struggling to find ideas I like enough to want to sit and draw. Or ideas I like at all. The few things I've come up with all seem extremely bland to me. I wonder where all my creativity has gone over time... Hmm. It sucks to not really be into anything you're doing/able to do.
ANYWAY! I don't know what'll come next, or when it'll be. I just hope to find something fun again regardless!
And in the meantime, I hope everyone else around is doing well! I'm crap at chatting lately, too, but positive vibes @ all the people! I'll try to stop being such a lonesome dorkass soon, and spread some in person. Hahaha

If you want my unsolicited advice on creativity, try drawing something you haven't done before. If you want more mass effect, maybe do a species you haven't, or rarely do. Or maybe try an alternative artstyle, or draw something with a different focus (environment, technology/blueprints, or something like that. I dunno).
Another thing that helps me is, if I have some crazy idea that's beyond what I think I can currently accomplish, I create a plan to reach that level and work on it until I can create that crazy idea. Not sure if any of that will help you, but if it does, then yay!
ALSO: It's less that I have nothing coming up as it is I have nothing coming up that I have any passion for trying. Lately I'm just super aware that drawing something is likely to take 6-8 hours, and while I want to draw, I don't wanna dump that time into something unless it either pays, or sounds like something I would personally enjoy. And the mood has swung my personal enjoyment further from my reach lately, so it's been a lot more dry. But such is life. It'll come around again, I'm sure. I'm just hoping it doesn't take forever!
Thanks for the help regardless though! :D
Or I'm just crazy and still feeling the stinging lmao. Ouch.
But yeah, inspiration comes from within most times. Healthy belches as you digest what's around you. So if it's not coming up and you feel bloated and backed up its high time to take care of that creative tummy by changing what you eat or taking time to deal with any stress causing the indigestion. Most importantly you can't force it or you'll just throw up. Enjoy this 6am metaphor *thumbs up*
