My hometown is on fire. That being said, I no longer live there, but all my childhood memories are there...I just watched an aftermath video of my old High School, half burnt. I'm hoping my Dad's house doesn't get burnt down, but his house is in the evacuation zone and its dangerously close to the Nuns fire in Kenwood. My childhood(pre-divorce) home is still good as long as the Tubbs fire doesn't head any further south...

But fortunately, most of the actual classrooms survived. The ones gone are the admin building, the library (spent a lot of time there), and the portable classrooms that went up after I'd already left.
