Greetings all, I don't even know how to start this off. I've been encountering this a lot of times and I feel I need to get it off my shoulders.
General Question (s) Reason for this journal 📓
-Why do you watch me? Is it for my personal works, or for artwork I'd appreciate honest thoughts on this, because I've had quite a few hellish months pushing out commissions.
-Is there any reason for the amount of -non- communication?
I've had several instances where a commission is bought, never reposted, notes read but never responded to, auctions won and litteral 5-10 days pass with nothing but a hope that they'll understand my time is just as important as their own, if I absolutely have to move on from that and try to make up the funds. Or when a work is reposted and never a comment if they like it or not... feedback I'd love it if I got it more.
-I've also had questions asked on time like "what is your general turnaround time?"
It's stated on my TOS rough draft located in my journals. I'll link it here too

-And lastly, what would you guys like to see more of? Currently my internet is out for outside reasons beyond my control so I cannot stream. It's been 2 hellish months. -Rip-
Once again feedback I'd love to have it, thank you for reading.

-Is there any reason for the amount of -non- communication? I don't think I've ever done the example stated in the journal however I really suck at communication >.> I try buuuuuuut people are spooky :c
I tend not to compliment or give feedback on many submissions I'm always scared people will get offended by something I say even with compliments since text is hard to convey emotions not to mention constantly saying "this is cute!" gets pretty shitty when its said on every other submission :o
-And lastly, what would you guys like to see more of? Everything honestly you have a well rounded style so your chibi's; fullbodies; sketches; ych's etc etc are always really enjoyable c:
And that I couldn't vouch to because the piece I did commission you I did respond on (although it wasn't very constructive or anything, mostly fangirling how cute it was) and I did repost it myself. ^-^
Maybe make a rule about how quickly someone has to reply? before you go on to another bidder or something.
Can't think of anything I'd like to see more off. I like just seeing the art that's posted.
I especially love how you do eyes, your coloring, and shading. And it has also been very enjoyable to watch you grow and develop as an artist.
I can't say a whole lot about your second point though. As someone who isn't an artist, by any stretch of the imagination, I don't really know how to effectively convey how much I like a piece. However I truly love and appreciate every piece I have gotten from you.
As for people taking so long to respond to notes: I'd say it may be a good idea to have a rule about responding with 24 or 48 hours.
More adopts! More customs! I have been telling you that your designs are fantastic for months now! You pick some really great color palettes, and you always put them together in ways that look absolutely outstanding, but at the same time aren't over the top or ridiculous.
I can speak to not reposting purchased pieces (at least, for a bit anyway) because I had a complex about not taking away from the original artist and actually using my gallery for my own work. Not commenting on the artist's post though? I have no idea. I always comment with how much I liked a piece I bought.
Not sure about the commissions not getting purchased/done. Buyer's remorse? I dunno.
Not sure what to suggest for you either. except to keep making art.
- I watch you because your art is very cute, and my cohorts tell me to stop following people who mainly draw canines. You have a rabbit(-like) character so I thought you'd be able to draw my sona decently and not like a frikken wolf(like some people....).
- I've ghosted one person who I asked a commission from before and that was just because I didn't feel like spending the funds on them at the time. I went over my mental budget and wasn't sure how to say "oh nevermind" without being an ass?
Honestly a few times I've opened a note, not realizing I don't have time to respond or the correct info to respond back with, then leave and forget that I have to reply (because the feeling of waiting has already settled in).
On the issue of feedback- most of the artists I've commissioned do not want feedback. I've no idea why. I want people to tell me what they think I can improve on or how they think I could fix their drawing. I'd limit it to who commissioned me, and sure it hurts a little when they say they don't like something but that's how I can improve. But since not many people like to receive criticism, I've opted out to saying that I'm happy with the piece in some way at the end of it.
I know one person who has a survey thing on a website for anonymous feedback. I think that's a good way of doing it but you'd kinda have to be prepared for anything you'll get ? No one's perfect and if anyone is leaving feedback, at its core it means they want you to improve.
- People love getting their art right away. But I don't like my art rushed with no wips.
- I focus mainly on sfw stuff! Cute dressy stuff, or adventure landscape based! Maybe practice with backgrounds!
