EA Games, Worst Customer Service EVER!

I love Spore, its a wonderful creative game that actually does a game right. Then they make an expansion for the game that gives the game a depth that is absolutely astounding. I was so excited about this expansion that I did something rare for me, I pre-ordered the game from EA dirrectly. That is where this drama begins.
I pre-order the game back in Feburary, and its to be released in May. Well of course they have to push the release date back, realatively common in the gaming industry. I was dissapointed, but I know it would be worth the wait. The new release date would be July the 23rd. Well I'm going about my business and low and behold I find the game on the 21st! Its the full retail game, on sale at a local Best Buy before the game comes out. I know thats actually unlawful, or even illeagal, so I decide to tell EA about it. Well they blow me off of course.
Granted, I'm just a little peon that doiesn't know anything and can't proove it. I should have gone about that a little dirfferently. Still though, they could have been a little nicer about it. I work in retail, I know what I saw EA...
Well, I don't bother with the mess because I know I'll be getting my game in two more days and it won't be an issue then, I'll hve Galactic Adventures! Hurray! The 23rd comes and goes, and no package addressed to me. I wait the next day the same way, still no package. I decide that sometimes the mail gets a little busy so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, I wait a whole week before I contact EA Games customer service.
It took them ten days, count that 10 days, to discover there was a system error in my order and that it was never processed. I would have thought that having to log in to a customer service account linked with my order, that they could tell there was a problem in one day. Ok maybe two or three for research time, but still ten days is dropping the ball badly. So they give me the option to go ahead with the order, or to cancel the order. I tell them to cancel the order because I don't want to mess with the $40.27 it would be to get it from them. I would rather pay the $29.95 from the Illeagal Best Buy and pay local taxes than support EA Games.
Now comes the fun part. Yesterday, one month from when I saw the game out in stores, one month from when I should have had the game in my house, I recieve an email saying that my order has been shipped. THE MORONS SHIPED ME MY GAME THAT I CANCLED ONE WHOLE MONTH AFTER I WAS SUPPOSED TO GET IT! What sort of customer service is that!?! They dragged their feet on the issue, dragged it out far too long. Then they don't even listen to what I want to do, they didn't even cancel the order. Tell me that there is more to canceling an order other than a few clicks of a computer. It can not be that hard. If it is, then EA Games drastically needs to learn a better way to do business.
The end result is that I'll never buy anything from them again. This whole mess has proven to me that they don't have a blasted clue what they are doing. I strongly urge all of you to stop messing with that abomination of a business as well. They don't deserve our money for service like that. Good games or not, if you can't support your customers, then you don't deserve business.
I am so angry with them, its not even funny. I've not been this mad in years.

OP
Terribly, in the worst sort of way. Best yet, I have the package sitting right here next to me. All over the box it says "Time Sensitive Product" in bright green stickers. What a joke, what a terribloe sick joke... Never again will I get anything straight from them. I might avoid their whole product line from now on as well. That was just wrong bad...
