Well...

Saw my dad today, it's unerving seeing one of your family with the scar tissue from such an operation... it's a bit distressing..

However he's already sitting up and moving about a bit, amazing when he's only had major surgery bearly 24 hours ago. He's making a speedy recovery and already the signs are that the new valve has done the trick... his BP is down by a full 1/3!

The docs are saying he maybe well enough to come home as early as tuesday next week, just hope to see him home and safe, and hopefully well on the road to recovery.
