If you have an android phone, you can try using a pdf scanner app to make the most of an older camera, as they tend to have a multipicture stabilizing mode and incorperates noise removal algoritums. I use the Turboscan app specifically myself, it also allows you to export it as a jpg. If a jpg isn 't high quality enough for you, GIMP can actually take higher quality PDFs and save them as pngs or any other format you want.
