Withdrawing Bids from auctions -

so.
We all know redrawing bids from auctions is a shitty thing, no matter what you do or why it is.
You should have checked your PayPal before, or thought about bills that might come in previous to bidding.
However
If you do have to redraw for whatever reason- just message the artist.
Just say "Hey, I'm very sorry I had to withdraw my bid on (...) because (...)"
that's all it takes. Is that too much to ask ? Most artists are very understanding. Just tell them why ! It's so nice to know that there's another human being at the end of the screen withdrawing a bid with a reasoning. It shows that you care about the artist.
Not messaging them and withdrawing a bid pretty much seems like "Screw you, artist. I'll withdraw the money i promised you"
so just take those two minutes to message them. It helps.

like someone places a bid, leaves it there for a good while, then 'this comment has been hidden by author'
like i got happy for that shit
i see some artists have a rule against it
