I know of a few artists that post images way larger than can actually fit on a monitor. If I click the image itself to bring it back to Normal View (since I have Full View on by default), then it's often too small to really see any detail. I usually then click on the Download link, since when it's the image by itself, the browser seems better able to scale it properly without any HTML junk getting in the way.
