Well - after writing a formal letter to my store manager I finally can say I have the necessary time off for MFF! I'll be there with my new suit, Jake. Just have to book the flights - which I'll do within the next couple of weeks.
Still waiting on a lot to go right, but it's a step in the right direction at long last. :D
