I hate my housemates and I wish I could move. But I can't afford to.

Ah, yes, well some times that is the case. Can you not move in with the boy friend?

The wife already lives with me. I really want to move us out. But my paycheck can't stretch far enough because of debts and other things.
The catch 22 of that situation is I'm putting all my extra funds into the debt to get it payed off. But then the other housemates don't tell me things and end up making me have to slide back into my debt to even live in the house comfortably. (Ex: Out of food/they can't afford electric/Appliance broke) and it always feels like something.

That does seem like quite the pickle. I wish there was some kind of advice I could give on the matter, but I live my life in such a way as to avoid just this kind of thing. I can only offer you my well wishes.

I appreciate it. I'm just frustrated. I've wanted to be out for many years but this pattern has been a thing for a long time. I've been so close at times but then something big happens. (the first time my car was completely put out of commission) And then other such situations.

Just inch worming my way along trying to keep my head above water... haha. ;u;

Me, I live as simplistically as humanly possible. No new fangled technology, no car, nothing that would generate additional bills. I keep to myself with no desire to ever be with someone else. I live below my means and thus I always have money, and don't acquire debt. It's not the kind of life that works for everyone. But it works for me, and has done so for many years, and do so into my golden years, or so is my hope.

I try to live like that. It would be easier if I lived in the middle of a town and could walk or take a bus to work and stores. Alas. That isn't where I am at the moment.
