First, apologies and embarassment for not posting this in a more timely manner. My internet access is at best sporadic, and catching up can be a slow process at best.

And now the news: This cranky old lynx is engaged to be married. That's right, the impossible has occurred. The lady in my life will soon become my wife. Early in October 2018, we shall be wed.

This is something that for most of my adult life I never thought would happen. Getting married just wasn't something that I ever really wanted to do. Nothing against the institution, but there it was. Well, that's changed. I want to spend the rest of my life with this woman. Needless to say, she's just as weird as I am.

So consider this the official notice of engagement. Reality shift, on.
