Ah - well the interviews have been going on in mostly the same format since about mid 2015. If you look back through my journals on FA, you can get links to all of them. So, so many great artists and characters have had features already. :)

It was a pleasure to read the interview with ImpXimon. His calm and chilled, easygoing nature certainly made this interview a fun read. Just like him to say that final quiet to the audience too! First Footpaws, now Ximon, its nice to see you give lively interview oppurtunities to folks who deserve some more spotlight for their charming selves. Plus, you yourself ensure to stay professional but don't stay stiff and controlled. You are more of a loose cannon and I appreciate that. What a lovely compliment! Thank you very much - I'm glad you like the way I do the interviews. I always thought being ridged/stiff is just... meh. How can you have a fun conversation if there's no relaxed conversation going on?

Imp was a lovely highlight - very nice guy, open and easy-going and (finally) an interviewer who is not afraid to ask some questions in return! In fact, I kinda chuckled at that - before we started the interview, he asked if it would be okay to ask me questions too:

[13:38] ImpXimon: sure thing, and I can ask questions as well, right?

[13:38] TC: Certainly. There's usually a point at which I ask you if you have any questions, but feel free to do so throughout if it flows well with what we're talking about.

I tell ya, that just made me smile because so often the interviews feel a bit one-sided, and I don't mind if it's an even talk. :) The more folks can see who the person is, the better, I think.

I always saw Xim as someone you should go to for art references and tips, I think he's always on his game. :3

It's a very good concept. We have some news about the paw world and yet can see the artist's point of view and story !

Awesome! Glad you liked it. They got back for years - all the way to October 2014. It's evolved a lot over time, but the artist and character highlight interviews go back to around 2015. If you look back through my journals, you'll find all sorts of them. At this point well over 100 artists/characters have been highlighted. If there are any you're curious about, I'll look back and see if they were a highlight and tell ya when.

Prior to April 1st, 2016, the Paw-Post was done in multiple versions - FA journal, Weasyl journal and an e-mail, hence why the formatting is way different. The interviews are still at the bottom, same as now. :)

I wasn't aware of the existence of these posts but this was brought to my attention by my friend Ximon just today. After reading the interview and your final comments, I felt compelled to comment, even though I am one freaking month late for this, (sorry I'm more or less lost in my own stuff that I don't get involved much in the community activities).

I understand how you can feel frustrated for the lack of feedback. But I'm pretty sure a lot of people appreciate what you do, and often they just don't know what to say or how to say it, so they opt for not commenting at all. Thank you for taking your time to do this, I hope you can keep doing this and improving the format :)

Hey - a month late is not that bad - sometimes I get comments several months after!. XD

Thank you for taking the time to write and say that. I do know it's well loved and well read - just sitting on the Google Doc sometimes, I can see dozens of folks coming and going in that short time span. I do wish more folks would comment, but I also understand how exceptionally rare feedback is.

Ximon's been incredibly helpful and supportive, and has been giving me some really great ideas on how to dress it up a little more, along with some other surprises folks might see as soon as this Friday's Paw-Post. I hope I can keep going with these as well - they are a immense amount of work, but I know folks enjoy them, and they also help spread the word around for things like YCHs and commissions for artists that don't yet have a lot of penetration.

Thanks for watching as well! Hope you enjoy the Paw-Posts and other stuff I post up. If you feel up to it sometime, I'd ber happy to do a character highlight on your fursona too - definitely one with nice paws. :)

I'm torn for a favorite on this one..

I always love seeing Tazara's work, especially when it's cute and humorous stuff like this. It's really cool to see their take on Lombaxes, too!

But Dream_and_Nightmare's feature is just too nice to overlook. You can tell at a glance what's going on - and get a good sense of every character shown at the same time; it's no secret that I enjoy art that tells a story, and this is a great example of that. Very nice work!

Haha... like you even have to mention enjoying Tazara's stuff anymore; I always instantly think of ya when I link any of her stuff. :)

Yar, that Dream and Nightmare one is wonderful for all the detail. I like that it's really not a yiffy pic or anything - just a cute moment. It's really well drawn, coloured and shaded, and bonus points for all the amusing snack names! XD

What can I say? I tend to rave a bit when I like an artist's work, haha~
