It's almost here! Pacific Anthropomorphic Weekend, aka PAWCon, is the SF Bay Area's small local con. It's been growing every year, and as much as I like its big brother con, Further Confusion, its nice to have a small local con as well. It's so much easier to meet people and to start conversations at a small con. Plus, it's held at the Doubletree Hotel in San Jose, former home of FC and the famed party balcony!

Driving! It's the OTHER local con!

Who will you be with?
New friends, old friends, anybody, everybody! I tend to be a social giraffe!

Where will you be?
All over the map. Socializing in random places. Hanging out till the wee hours. (This giraffe is a night owl!) Anyplace with coffee! I expect I'll be hanging on the PartyFLoor and Balcony a lot more, since the outdoor balcony is so much fun.

What do you look like?
A purple short-necked giraffe. Or the guy with grey hair. I put the gray in greymuzzle!

How old are you?
59, which doesn't really seem possible, but nevertheless is a fact. One day I may actually grow up, but apparently not in the near future. :)

Are you mated/in a relationship?
Nope. Single. Would be nice, though.

How tall are you?
5'9" I am a short-necked giraffe. A rare subspecies.

Can I talk to you?
Of course!

Can I hug and/or snuggle you?
Oh my YES! I do love hugs, snuggles and huggles!

Are you nice?
I sure hope so!

Are you cliquey?
Heck no!

Are you fursuiting?
HECK! YES!! I'm just a teeny bit addicted!

Which suit(s) will you be bringing?
Zarafa the purple giraffe! YAYYY!
Also bringing Klahanie the Mountain Goat. Not sure how much I'll be wearing him though.

Can I try on your suit?
I haven't been able to bring myself to loan out Zarafa.

If I see you, how should I get your attention?
Yell "Zarafa!" Or "Hey Giraffe!" "Hey You" will do in a pinch.

Do you take commissions?
Nah. I don't art.

I'll be there, checking stuff out.

Sure! I tend to be pretty social.

Where will you be eating?
A good question. Usually a spontaneous last minute decision. Coffee will need to be acquired. As long as it's after 11 am. This giraffe is not a morning giraffe. :)

Can I come to dinner with you?
Yes, of course! In general, I'm a "the more, the merrier" kind of giraffe. The only exception being if we're going someplace with limited space.

Can I ask ya to dance with me during the dances?
Please do! I LOVE dancing with new people and making new friends! Please feel free to find me as I flail away!

Can I buy you drinks?
Sure! But I'm a lightweight giraffe. And buzzed giraffes are kinda silly; we trip over our long legs and bump our heads on things.

Do you attend parties?
Yup! It's always a battle between the dances and the parties. :) It's a great problem to have-- too many fun things to do!
