We have moved!

FINALLY.
My first journal from our new apartment - we have now officially moved into the new place and I am finally ready to re-focus on work as normal. The renovations took longer than we anticipated, the past few weeks have been day-in-day-out driving to and from the apartment, doing as much as we could do until our bodies gave up, went home, rested, slept, and did more of the same the next day.
Downside, I've been able to do barely any drawing at all and had to pretty much give up on keeping up with Inktober. I'm pretty bummed out about that, but I know my limits and they were definitely reached. I could not afford to spend half of my energy on the place and half of it on art, so I chose to focus entirely on getting the apartment done so that I could fully dedicate my time and energy to my work again afterwards.
On the upside, the apartment feels ours now. We have repainted practically everything (walls and ceilings, which was quite necessary), laid new floors, and put in all of our own, mostly new things that we bought together. I am still processing the fact that this will actually be our home for, well, as long as we want to live here probably. It's a bit unreal and I'm definitely anxious that something will go wrong and for some reason out of our control we will be forced to move again, as we have two times before now. I'm sure that feeling will fade with time.
Thanks to all of you for your patience, I know I have not kept up with my planned commission opening schedule, and at least two people are still waiting for art from me. I'm trying to get back into my working rhythm as quickly as possible and hopefully I will see you guys in a stream some time soon :3.
