Commissions closed/small hiatus

I'm going to be closed for regular commissions indefinitely. I might open for YCHs or for Christmas-themed badges and commissions in December.
I think it would be beneficial to spend time developing my own ideas and building a portfolio of more completed works of arts. Doing commissions has been great and all, but it hasn't allowed me to develop as much in important skills such as character design and full scenes/scenery focused works.
That being said, I'm sort of artistically drained at this point. I think that taking a hiatus from working on art all the time would give me time to gestate new ideas and re-build my motivation for my own projects.
Currently I'm working on business card designs to hand out at artist alleys. My next up-coming convention is Midwest FurFest but I'm unsure if I'll be ready in time to sell commissions there. I want to start out with something smaller, possibly FurSquared in February of 2018.
