Hmm. Would you consider taking on a commission with an extended date on it? What I mean is I pay you now, you get around to the piece when you're better and have the rest of whatever current queue you have done?

I would consider that! I would just be worried incase anything went wrong with the tablet or something and the person could end up waiting a while for their piece. It's a bit of an anxious thing borrowing money off a stranger and not knowing when you're gonna be able to do their reward piece! But it's definatly something I will consider :')

I went into this with two things in mind, one, that the piece I would ask for would allow you to purchase a better tablet than what you are currently looking at. And two, that it may take up to a full year for you to complete the piece. I can play the waiting game if I need to, though I won't lie and say I won't bug you about once a month or so for updates once you've recovered fully, that's what I do with several artists who are working slowly. Just a "Hi, how are you, any updates?" I keep all my notes to make sure it's been at least a month before I bother them again :P but I can push it further if that becomes a problem for you. So I'm not worried, at best I get art and you get a tablet. At worst, I helped someone in need and got swindled out of a piece of art. Seems like a pretty sweet deal for me either way. :) Anyways, lemme know what you think and I can discuss details with you however you'd like if you choose to accept my commission!
