Oh, quitting before you found another job? That's never a good idea

I know, but I have a job interview next week on the 15th.

Well, I hope you get it. It's better to wait until you do have a job secured before quitting. That's what I did with Marshalls, I wanted out of there for months but I kept suffering until I found out Domino's was hiring me. After that I just waited a couple weeks into starting my new job to get acclimated, put in my 2 weeks notice for Marshalls, and then I was free. Been much happier since I did that, because this job is far better.

I understand and I glad you got the job there. I was going to put my two weeks in but I said screw this and just left. If you were me you would understand very fast but it's okay.

I guess, you don't really talk to me anymore so I have no idea what was going on around there. I can never tell if you're around either.

Was stressed out with work but not any more.

I would never wait for another job before quitting. Giving a two weeks notice is not a really good idea. I did that two-week notice thing a few times and it did not go to well. Those toxic people in the work place would go nuts almost to the point of wanting to hurt me very badly including threatening or ruining my life. So I really don't understand why people say to wait. Why wait when you can free yourself from those toxic workplaces.

I know right?

I honestly don't think there any nice jobs out there. Not being a downer but its true. Even the good ones will go sour. You could have nice people during the beginning but then after a few months or years it goes bad. The dream job might not be a dream job. Or you work so hard to get to the very top and some where along the way a new higher up comes in and could take it all away with those three words. That's why I love the job that I created my very own cartoon character. ^_^

Now that's a dream job, maybe this is why so many try to make it big on youtube.

The point of giving two weeks notice is so they have time to find a replacement. Sure you can straight up quit on them without warning (which I did once), but usually it's better to wait till you know you have another job lined up first. Otherwise you risk losing money which can be a bad time.

When I quit on the one place, I thought "No problem, I'll find something soon." Took me over a year to get hired somewhere new. If you're out of a job like that, not making any money, it's hard to get anywhere. That's the whole idea of securing a better job before you quit, so you won't miss out on having money still saved up or coming in to pay for whatever you need.

I know but there was unemployment checks if they didn't stop that. Am looking at you trump, but you know whats really funny? They haired others for table and NONE fpr the grill it was only me. (And the only black dragon on there) no one else was haired there. Yea some on the table can do but not like i can shame huh? Beside on the 8th something good is going to happen i can feel it.

I never got unemployment checks for when I got fired at Popeye's, I just was stuck looking for work. But it is pretty funny how blind some of these big places can be when it comes to hiring. My friend is quitting at Wal-Mart because they were trying to break their own rules by forcing him to switch departments when he was not warned about it or trained for it. While also denying him any requests to positions he actually wanted, too, and not hiring enough help for where they need it. That's just how corporate businesses seem to run.

I never wanted to work there in the first place. You know they saying "I'll never go there after high school!" Because that's everyone worse nightmare. And I didn't try walmart but at some point I might have to.. there's really nothing around my area. *hugs* thanks but the stupid part tho is when my boss "called me" asking where am I I was supposed to be in at 3pm but he didn't call me. I was walking home from the store and he called my dad not me. Agh I'm not losing my freedom wings over that fast food joint. But you want to know the real juicy part, the had the place under construction and it was still open drive trough only and while inside the workers was using some kind of gas thing and I in hailed that and burn my chest up badly for three days. We didn't go home whole that was happening and can imagine it was on the food to. Short story the play part and the front is the only thing that's new but the kitten is still the same with a LOT of broken things mostly the grill.
