They also have to fit the mood of the movie. For example, if there is an emotional scene going on, like when a character dies, the music must get emotional and sad. When something funny going on like a funny chase scene or some slapstick, the music must be funny, wacky and crazy too. When there are scenes when the battles get intense, the music gets intense as well.
