Hi guys! So the thing is I just got my brief for my next prop making module in college and I have to make a chess set and a film prop based on the vikings. It can't just be like any viking chess set you might see anywhere else though, it has to be unique and different to what my tutors have seen before. I got this theme at random through a draw so I'm a little worried I won't be able to put a unique twist on it. There has been a viking chess set made by a student every year and the only ones I know of is a bone theme and another is a sea themed viking set.

I was hoping that someone with a keen interest in Viking culture would be able to help me out with coming up with a unique idea to put forth in a design to fabricate. Also an idea for a unique viking prop would be awesome too!
