Mostly, I wanted to replace the Megaplex meme journal entry.
So...
My job and I have parted ways. I don't want to go into great detail, as I walked from something a few of you would have been happy to have. I was quite happy, initially. I remember Lonely Island's "I just had sex!" captured exactly how I felt when I was hired, and _paid_! I kept meaning to post about it; and then some things started to wear. Fast forward almost six years, and I had a bunch of exciting stories, and heck-ton more serious health problems. No signs of change, and the steadily increasing temperature aspect was getting difficult to deal with.
It's been a couple weeks, and while the job wasn't responsible for everything that's wrong with me, it was for some things and I'm still unwinding the complex emotions that are all wrapped up in it. And oh yeah, there's that "No Money!" thing too. I'll be OK for a while. I have been considering Patreon and Kofi; I suppose I'd have to actually do some art and things. Getting back to that is one of the tasks during this unwinding time. Not being able to is a strange mental block I'm still working on. Also, not entirely sure how well that will interact with my ego.
