I picked up Sun because the nostalgia is strong with this one. I thought it was okay, but I think I'm starting to really... Not be the target audience for pokemon anymore which is sad, because I really enjoy those games. But the cutscenes drew out a bit slow and I sometimes felt like the game was treating me like an 8 year old (not surprising for a franchise I started to play around age 6)
I'm tempted to pick up one of the new games, especially since I should (in theory) have some time to relax around the holidays... But I'm usually pretty turned off by the 'same song second dance' type pokemon games (with the exception of the ruby and sapphire remakes, those were fabulous~)
Aside from that, anyone have any suggestions for handheld games to get this season? I have a 3DS and a switch.
FA+

And if you don't already have Breath of the Wild, I HIGHLY recommend it. You could sink 200+ hours into that game very easily.
It happens to be the ONLY game I have for my switch currently though which is a drag. Definitely a symptom of Nintendo releasing so early and with so few titles.
As for 3DS, I'm mostly a Pokemon player but I've been looking into Miitopia and Tomodachi Life. And there's also plenty of classic games on the eshop. (Pokemon RBY/GS and some old Zelda games among them.)
Any kind of japanese rpg on the 3ds is usually going to have a wack story, with some internet searches I imagine you can find some decent gems ^^
If not we gotta correct this! 5181-3690-7626
If you ever get splatoon, mario kart, poyopoyo tetris, or pokken HIT ME UP!!
The new mario game is AMAZING as well, I HIGHLY recommend it
I really wanna get Mario Kart for the switch. That sounds fun c:
